peace is the word iis a project i began in 2006. i put out a call to ask people to illustrate what peace meant to them. of course i wasn't looking for a definitive answer, just what they felt at the time. the submissions were various: original poems, design, drawings and photos. this was a small project in response to my disgust and sadness of what i was reading and seeing in the news every day. in all of the chaos in the world it seemed the most important aspects of humanity were being left out: trust, respect and love.
